| A dedicated entrepeneur, Marilyn's background in Marketing has laid the foundation for her highly successful real estate career. She graduated from St. Agnes Academy before attending the University of Texas and later graduating from the University of Houston with a BA in Marketing and Journalism. Marilyn has held a Texas Real Estate license for 12 years and has been a top producer since 1997.
Marilyn is a recipient of the Coldwell Banker's Presidents Elite Award, which classifies her among the top 1% of all Coldwell Banker agents Internationally. In addition, Marilyn has been honored as one of the top 10 agents in Coldwell Banker United, out of over 900 agents in Houston and surrounding areas. Marilyn is amoung the top 2 agents in the Champions office and she was also honored in 2006 as one of the top 20 agents in all of Coldwell Banker United which includes Austin, Metro Houston and North Carolina. Marilyn is certified as a Coldwell Banker Previews Agent, she is a Circle of Honor Award recipient and a "Multi-Million Dollar a Month" producer. In 2001, she was nominated as the Greater Houston Builders Association "Realtor of the Year". Marilyn is a member of several relocation teams and handles relocation for Primacy, Cartus, Prudential, Sirva, Associates and GMAC just to name a few.
Marilyn has been a resident of the explosive neighborhood of Gleannloch Farms for 10 years and has been named the top new home sales agent for over 8 years. In addition, she is the leading listing and resale agent in the community with over 43 Gleannloch homes sold in 2007. Marilyn has also been honored by the neighborhoods of Coles Crossing and The Woodlands for outstanding sales.
Marilyn is highly involved in her community and donates countless volunteer hours. In 2007-2008 Marilyn served as the co-chariman of the American Heart Association Heart Ball, which raised over $800,000 for the organization and is the largest suburban Heart Ball in the US. Marilyn also serves on the board of the American Heart Association, is a member of the National Charity League, a substaining member of the Junior League, an active member of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity, a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, a volunteer for FACE, a fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and Co-Chairman of Zeta Tau Alpha Golf Invitational which raises over $25,000 a year for breast cancer research and collegiate scholorships.
